Please consider a gift to WATCH’s annual fund—support work to make the justice system more effective and responsive in handling cases of violence against women and children. WATCH is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization; contributions are tax deductible.
Your contributions support:
- Daily monitoring of more than 5,000 court hearings
- Three volunteer training sessions that prepare 65 new volunteers and interns
- Participation on committees to advocate for improvements in the courts
- Our quarterly newsletter, email bulletins, and work with the media
- Targeted monitoring and research projects
- Community outreach and education
There are many ways to give:
- Make a gift online through the link below.
- Send a check to WATCH, 608 2 nd Avenue S., Suite 465, Minneapolis, MN 55402.
- Make a pledge. You set the amount and payment schedule. Your pledge helps WATCH plan for the future, knowing resources will be there to fulfill our mission. Pledges may be mailed to the address listed above or emailed to watch@watchmn.org.
- Use your company’s matching gift program. Ask your company human relations administrator if they have a matching gift program. This could double or triple your gift.
- Make a gift of stocks or bonds. You receive a tax deduction for the current fair market value and avoid capital gains tax on the increased value of the asset since you purchased it. Contact Debra DeRosa at 612-341-2747 ext. 1, or watch@watchmn.org for easy instructions.
- Make a memorial or tribute gift in honor of a special person. We will include their name with yours in our annual report.
- Celebrate a special occasion in your life. What better way to recognize a birthday, wedding, retirement or other special occasion than by making a gift to WATCH to transform our community?
- Help to widen our circle of supporters. Share your vision for a violence free society by hosting a lunch or coffee meeting to introduce WATCH to others. We will provide a speaker and help with the details.
